Vijay Shekhar Sharma is the founder of the mobile payment company, Paytm and also among the top entrepreneur’s of India. He was born in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh and cites Masayoshi Son of SoftBank and Jack Ma, Alibaba’s founder as his inspiration.

Vijay had started his first website while he was in college in 1997 by the domain name of indiasite.net which got sold for $1 million 2 years later.

His Career:-

He had done his under-graduation from DCE or the Delhi College of Engineering at an early age of 19.

His career started with starting of One97 Communications in 2000 which offered mobile contents and is also the parent company of Paytm, which was launched in 2010.

In 2017, He was featured by Forbes in World Billionaire’s List where he acquired 1567th rank and also became the youngest man to be featured on the list.

His dream is to build India’s first $100 Bn firm, a company that makes the nation proud.
